A vehicle incident continues to impact traffic and delays can still be expected, says DriveBC.
Drivers are still being advised to detour on Highway 1.

(Original story: Nov. 29 @ 2:10 pm) – DriveBC is reporting a closure on Highway 97A south of Sicamous.
Shortly before 2 pm, a vehicle incident caused the closure of the highway between Hutchinson Road and Mara Heights Road in Swansea Point.
People are being told to prepare for “major” delays and to detour to Highway 1.
Crews are en route and people are being told keep an eye out for traffic control personnel.
There is no estimated time of reopening but another update is due Friday afternoon.
